Good afternoon to all! I apologize for my brief absence. I have been working and cooking but laying low on the experimenting. Last night I roasted some Adirondack red potatoes, blue fingerlings, Yukon gold potatoes, and a rutabaga (all from the local farmers’ market!) I tossed them in olive oil, rosemary, fresh thyme, and salt. If you have a local market around you, look for rutabagas- they are a great combination of cabbage and a turnip. They’re sweet, have a hearty texture, and go great with other root vegetables!
Hopefully in the next week I’ll make homemade seitan. Wish me luck!
